Stockpile Volume Measurement
Baxter UAV Solutions provides drone-based stockpile volume measurement for mining and construction teams in Ontario and across Canada. Surface models support inventory review, material planning and comparison between collection dates.
How is volume calculated? The mapped pile surface is compared with an agreed reference surface inside a defined boundary. The base surface and boundary influence the result, so these assumptions need to be established before reporting.
For repeat measurements, consistent boundaries, reference surfaces and collection requirements help make comparisons useful. Changes in pile shape, access or site conditions should be recorded and discussed with your team.
What do we need for a quote? Send the site location, material type, number of piles, approximate area and preferred measurement date. Let us know whether you need one inventory snapshot or repeat monitoring.
We agree the required outputs, reporting approach and accuracy requirements during scoping. Use the quote form below to discuss your stockpile inventory project and the deliverables your workflow needs.
